Ellis F1 carrot is a high-yielding hybrid of the Nantes type, developed by Rijk Zwaan. This variety features conical roots about 20 cm long, smooth surface, and bright orange flesh. The carrot’s foliage is robust, dark green, upright, and sturdy, facilitating easy mechanical harvesting. Ellis F1 is suitable for cultivation on various soil types and in different climatic zones, making it a versatile choice for both commercial farms and home gardens.

The crop’s vegetative period is approximately 130 days, with harvests starting as early as 110 days after germination. The roots are cylindrical, straight, smooth, with blunt tips.
