Chumak F1 — early, high-yielding hybrid carrot of the Shantane type, maturing in 105–115 days after sowing. The roots have the typical conical shape for this type, 12–16 cm long, with uniform dark-orange flesh and juicy core, the color of which matches the main flesh. The hybrid has increased carotene and sugar content, and with proper fertilization does not accumulate nitrates, ensuring high product quality and excellent taste.

Chumak F1 has a strong and healthy leaf canopy with high tolerance to Alternaria leaf spot (IR), contributing to plant resilience in field conditions. The hybrid also exhibits high tolerance to root cracking and splitting, making it a reliable choice for various sowing dates, including winter and early sowings. Thanks to these qualities, the carrot is suitable both for early production and for long-term storage with late sowings.

Chumak F1 is especially recommended for the processing industry due to its intense root coloration, which surpasses other varieties. To achieve optimal yield, it is recommended to follow a sowing rate of 0.8 to 1.5 million seeds per hectare, depending on the purpose — from early production to mass harvest.
