Chantenaya A Coeur Rouge

Carrot variety Shantenaya Krasnoye Serdtse is a mid-season type shantenaya variety developed by Hazera from the Netherlands. The maturity period is 105-110 days from emergence of seedlings, which allows growing this variety in various agroclimatic zones, including the entire territory of Ukraine. Plants reach a height of up to 20 cm and are characterized by good growth vigor. The variety is distinguished by resistance to diseases and fruit cracking, and does not require high agronomic requirements, except for the need to thin seedlings for optimal root development. Carrots of Shantenaya Krasnoye Serdtse variety have a conical shape, length from 10 to 16 cm, and weight from 160 to 250 g. They have a rich orange color without signs of greenness, indicating high product quality. The core of the fruits is dense, uniform, and has high sugar content, providing excellent taste. The tops are firmly attached to the roots, facilitating harvesting and transportation.
