Angara

The Angara carrot variety is a mid-early cylindrical root crop with a blunt end and a rich orange color both outside and inside. The root length varies from 17 to 25 cm, with an average weight of 200-240 g. The flesh is tender, juicy and sweet, with high sugar content and a small orange core. The surface is smooth, without bumps, with a short root tail and a small neck where leaves grow. The absence of fibers and a green edge at the base makes this variety particularly attractive for fresh consumption and processing.

The Angara variety is characterized by good market quality and is suitable for short-term storage. It is well-suited for cultivation on an industrial scale and on household plots, growing successfully on various soil types. The carrot is resistant to viral diseases and does not throw a flowering stalk, which facilitates care and increases yield. For optimal growth, the use of phosphorus-potassium fertilizers characteristic of root crops is recommended.

Due to its rich color and high sugar content, the Angara variety is excellent for producing juice and other types of processing. Its juiciness and magnificent flavor make the carrot versatile in application – from fresh consumption to storage and processing. The vegetation period is about 100-110 days, which allows the use of the variety for spring and autumn sowing.
