Cabbage Voitel

Stability and Performance: Why Professionals Choose “Voitel”

In the mid-late cabbage segment, Dutch breeding from Nunhems sets the industry standard. “Voitel” is a hybrid designed for farmers who prioritize predictable results with minimal risks. Maturing in 100–110 days, the plant develops dense, massive heads weighing 3–4 kg. Its key features include a flat-round shape and a rich green color, making it visually appealing for fresh market retail, while its dense internal structure makes it an ideal candidate for pickling and industrial processing.

Disease Resistance as a Foundation

The main advantage of this hybrid is its genetic resistance to Fusarium wilt. For operations working on soils where pathogen buildup is a chronic challenge, “Voitel” provides a reliable tool to protect yield potential. Unlike many other varieties prone to cracking under moisture fluctuations, this hybrid demonstrates superior field stability and harvest endurance.

Why choose “Voitel”?

• Market versatility: perfectly suited for both fresh market sales and processing.
• Uniformity: standard head weight and size significantly simplify harvesting and packaging processes.
• Resilience: strong genetic profile reduces losses from soil-borne diseases.

From an agronomic perspective, the hybrid responds exceptionally well to intensive cultivation practices. It offers a combination of high profitability and high quality, ensuring that farmers get a uniform harvest that meets strict industrial requirements.
