Description IKORKA
Ikorka cabbage is a mid-season red cabbage hybrid with a bright purple color and a variegated red-white internal structure of the head. This variety is distinguished by its crisp texture and rich flavor, making it a versatile product suitable for fresh salads, appetizers, as well as cooked and pickled dishes. The heads are dense, oval-shaped, weighing from 1.5 to 3.5 kg, ensuring high yield and ease of transportation. The variety is characterized by a high taste assessment and resistance to cracking, diseases, and pests, which facilitates care and increases growing reliability.

Ikorka matures on average in 130-145 days, allowing for long-term storage up to 4 months, and up to spring under proper storage conditions. The cabbage well maintains its taste qualities and market appearance, making it in demand in home cooking during the winter and spring periods. The plant prefers sunny areas and light slightly acidic soils, is grown via seedlings, which contributes to high yields.

Moreover, the variety is resistant to Fusarium and other diseases, ensuring long-term preservation of head marketability in the field and after harvest. Leaves are large, gray-green in color with a waxy coating and wavy edges, giving the plant an attractive appearance. Thanks to its characteristics, Ikorka is suitable for growing in open ground as well as for sale on the fresh market, combining high taste qualities and excellent structure.
