Conkeror F1 cabbage is a mid-early hybrid of white cabbage developed by the Dutch company Bejo Zaden. The vegetative period from seedling transplanting to harvest is about 60-70 days, allowing for a quick harvest. The plants are powerful with a well-developed leaf apparatus that ensures reliable protection of heads from sunburn. Leaves are large, gray-green in color with an intense waxy coating, weakly blistered and wavy at the edges, giving them an attractive appearance and contributing to prolonged preservation of marketable appearance in the field.
Cabbage heads are round, dense, weighing 2-3 kg with a short inner core. The internal structure is white and uniform, leaves are juicy, without bitterness, with excellent taste qualities. Cabbage is rich in vitamins C and B, as well as minerals, making it useful for fresh consumption, as well as for preparing salads, stewed dishes, and pickling. The hybrid is distinguished by high resistance to fusarium and bacterial blight, ensuring stable yields up to 60 tons per hectare.
Conkeror F1 is suitable for growing in open ground and is oriented towards the fresh market. The recommended planting density is 45-50 thousand plants per hectare. Thanks to the plasticity and endurance of the hybrid, as well as a long storage period of about one month, the cabbage retains its marketable and taste qualities for a long time after harvest.
