Cabbage Ksena

A Reliable Choice for Fresh Market and Processing

"Ksenia" by Agrooptima is an excellent solution for farmers seeking predictable results in the early-mid maturity segment of white cabbage. Unlike many ultra-early hybrids that tend to crack under fluctuating humidity levels, this variety shows remarkable adaptability to the diverse climatic conditions of Ukraine.

Key Competitive Advantages

• Ideal Weight and Density: Heads weighing 2.0–3.0 kg are highly sought after by retail outlets. This "single-consumer" size is perfect for supermarkets and retail markets, eliminating the need to cut heads for sale.
• Versatile Use: Despite a relatively short vegetation period of 60–70 days, the heads are remarkably dense. This makes them suitable not only for fresh consumption but also for early-season processing, including fermentation.
• Logistics-Friendly Shape: The rounded and round-oval shape allows for compact packing, minimizing damage during transport and ensuring the product reaches the shelves in prime condition.

Who should choose this variety?

Ksenia is an optimal choice for small and medium-sized farms focusing on the early-season market. It allows growers to capitalize on high prices when supply is typically low. The key distinction of this Agrooptima hybrid is its uniform maturation, ensuring a synchronized harvest window that is crucial for efficient operations. Please note that due to its early maturity, this cabbage is not intended for long-term storage. The best strategy is to market the yield directly from the field within a month after harvest to maximize profitability and freshness.
