Buckwheat DASHA

Consistent Yields with Efficient Harvesting

The «Dasha» buckwheat variety, developed by the Federal Scientific Center of Legumes and Cereal Crops in collaboration with Orel GAU, stands out for its high level of field management efficiency. In a market where harvest loss is a primary concern for farmers, Dasha offers a significant advantage: superior lodging resistance. This characteristic ensures that the crop remains upright, allowing for seamless mechanical harvesting even under challenging conditions.

Key Agronomic Features

• Vegetation Period: Flexible cycle ranging from 60 to 80 days, allowing for better synchronization with seasonal weather patterns.
• Durability: High lodging resistance prevents yield losses that usually occur when plants collapse prematurely.
• Target Producers: Optimal for farms prioritizing consistent, high-quality grain production and reduced machinery stress during harvest.

Dasha was bred to meet the rigorous demands of the cereal industry, focusing on uniformity and yield stability. While many varieties struggle during the final stages of maturation, Dasha provides a robust performance that minimizes risks for the farmer. By choosing this variety, producers benefit from a reliable, low-maintenance crop that balances early maturity with structural integrity.
