Description DEVIATKA
The Deviatka buckwheat variety is a mid-early determinate variety with a vegetation period of 75 to 90 days, allowing for harvest collection in autumn even after sowing following the harvesting of winter grain crops. The plants reach a height of 75 to 115 cm and are characterized by synchronized flowering and maturation. Deviatka features large grains weighing 26-36 grams per 1000 grains, ensuring a high yield of groats and kernels, comprising approximately 75.5% and 68.1% respectively.

This variety is distinguished by high resistance to adverse environmental factors, including drought, temperature fluctuations, shattering, lodging, as well as early frosts and high temperatures. Deviatka also demonstrates resistance to ascochytosis, which contributes to plant health and yield stability. Thanks to these qualities, the variety is suitable for direct combine harvesting, which facilitates agronomic operations.

The potential yield of the Deviatka variety reaches 45 centners per hectare, while average yield indicators range from 19 to 30 centners per hectare. Nectar productivity is about 100-125 kg per hectare, making the variety attractive for beekeeping. The recommended sowing rate is 80-100 kg per hectare, which ensures optimal plant development and maximum harvest return.
