Bean TREASURES

Stability and Quality: A Breakthrough in Pulse Crop Breeding

The 'Sokrovishche' (Treasure) variety is the result of extensive research conducted by the Educational and Scientific Center 'Vegetable Experimental Station' and the Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Growing. Breeders N.T. Belonosova and N.N. Svidovskaya developed a culture that has secured a strong position in the agricultural market as a reliable source of high-quality protein raw materials.

This variety belongs to the shelling (dry bean) category, which dictates its primary purpose: producing commercial grain with excellent culinary properties. The bush-type plant, reaching a height of 40–50 cm, makes it ideal for mechanized cultivation, a critical factor for farms looking to minimize labor costs during harvesting.

Agronomic Parameters and Growth Cycle

• Maturation period: mid-season, ripening in 90–100 days.
• Habitus: compact bush, resistant to lodging, which simplifies maintenance throughout the season.
• Seeds: white grains characterized by a high commercial appearance and excellent shelf life.

The 'Sokrovishche' variety is suitable for both large-scale industrial farming and smaller garden plots. Its main advantage lies in the combination of yield predictability and stable grain characteristics. The lack of excessive vegetative mass allows the plant to focus its resources on pod formation, which directly impacts the commercial yield per hectare. In the market, this variety is highly regarded for its consistent performance and the purity of its seed stock, guaranteed by the reputation of its originators.
