Bean NEZHENKA

A Reliable Choice for Asparagus Bean Enthusiasts

The «Nezhenka» variety from the Agrofirma Poisk brand is a prime example of quality selection in the vegetable bean segment. Developed in collaboration with the Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Production, this pole bean variety has carved out a niche as a mid-early asparagus crop, prized for its tender, fiber-free pods.

Agronomic Features and Market Standing

With a vegetation period of 75–85 days, «Nezhenka» is well-suited for temperate climates. As a climbing plant, it requires a trellis or support system, which facilitates easy harvesting and optimal airflow for the plants. The variety's appeal lies in its culinary and physical attributes:

• Technical Maturity: The pods develop a vibrant yellow color and a tender texture, typical of premium stringless (sugar) bean varieties.
• Versatility: Due to the lack of tough parchment layers, the pods are perfect for a variety of culinary applications, from fresh sautéing to canning.
• Seed Quality: The seeds are white and known for their high germination energy, ensuring reliable performance in the field.

Agrofirma Poisk maintains a strong reputation for ensuring varietal purity. For growers, «Nezhenka» represents a stable, predictable product that delivers consistent results under standard agricultural practices. It remains a preferred choice for those looking for a balance between high yield productivity and superior gastronomic quality.
