Winter barley KWS Wallace is an elite six-row variety with high and stable yield, even under adverse climatic conditions. This medium-maturing barley has plant height of about 100 cm and a unique combination of high yield and excellent grain quality, which is among the best among six-row barleys in Germany. Seeds are packed in 40 kg bags, convenient for storage and transport.
Recommended seeding rate ranges from 300 to 450 similar seeds per square meter depending on sowing time: early, optimal, late, and very late. Sowing depth varies from 3 to 4 cm. Number of ears per square meter reaches 550-650, contributing to high crop productivity. The variety has high drought resistance (9-10 points) and medium resistance to diseases, making it a reliable choice for various agroclimatic zones.
