Barley KWS Flemming

Winter barley of the Flemming variety is an elite six-row variety with high yield, successfully grown both under extensive and intensive technologies. This medium-maturing variety features medium-height plants with high resistance to lodging, ensuring stable yields even under adverse weather conditions. Flemming exhibits good resistance to major diseases, reducing the need for frequent protective treatments and promoting ecological cultivation.

One of the key features of this variety is its high protein content and good grain quality, making it attractive for use in both feed and food purposes. Yield test results for the 2024 season confirm its high productivity, achieving yields ranging from 6.9 to 11.5 tons per hectare in different regions. The optimal seeding rate varies from 300 to 450 seeds per square meter depending on sowing time, with seed depth of 3–4 cm.

The Flemming variety is recommended for cultivation in various regions, including Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Poltava, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv. Seeds are packaged in 40 kg bags, convenient for storage and transport. European selection and high drought resistance ratings (9–10 points) make this barley a reliable choice for farmers seeking quality and stable yields.
