Bulat

Barley of the Bulat variety is a mid-early grain-feeding variety of spring barley (Hordeum vulgare L.), recommended for cultivation in the regions of the North Caucasus and Lower Volga districts, including the Stavropol Krai and the Kalmykia Republic. The average yield of the variety reaches 31.3-35.3 c/ha in the specified regions. Bulat has moderate resistance to dark brown spot, but is susceptible to loose smut, which requires attention to plant protection.

This barley variety is distinguished by a powerful erect stem with a diameter of up to 9 mm and plant heights of up to 120 cm. The ear is cylindrical, six-rowed, up to 23 cm long, and contains up to 180 large golden-colored grains. These characteristics make Bulat attractive for both food use for cereals and feeding livestock, ensuring high quality and quantity of the crop.

To protect barley seeds of the Bulat variety from fungal diseases, the use of the fungicide Bulat is recommended, which is used for seed treatment before sowing. It is effective against loose and hard smut, helminthosporium and fusarium root rots, powdery mildew, septoria, snow mold, and seed mold. The recommended application rate of the fungicide is 0.8-1.2 liters per ton of seeds with a working liquid consumption of 10 liters per ton, which ensures reliable protection and contributes to obtaining a healthy and high-quality crop.
