Tsaryvna

Astra "Tsaryvna" – a popular annual with a compact upright bush reaching about 60–65 cm in height. Large flowers up to 14 cm in diameter feature a delicate white-pink hue, reminiscent of the "Princess" variety. Blooming starts in mid-August and continues until the onset of cold weather.

For cultivation, seeds are sown in a greenhouse or cold frame from March to April, after which plants can be transplanted into open ground in May–June. At temperatures of 18–21 °C, the first shoots appear within 6–15 days. The plant prefers well-lit areas and fertile soil; it grows best in sunny locations.

"Tsaryvna" is widely used for decorative purposes: creating group plantings, designing flower beds, and as material for living bouquets. Thanks to its cold hardiness and vibrant color, it becomes a popular choice among gardeners wishing to add a rich white-pink shade to their landscape.
