Description Ametist
Aster Amethyst is an annual plant with a pyramidal stem shape, reaching a height of 65–75 cm, and dense flower heads up to 15 cm in diameter. The flower has a purple hue, with thin, needle-like petals that are slightly curled into a spiral, creating a fluffy sphere resembling a dandelion head.

Amethyst seeds are easy to grow under both amateur and professional conditions. Planting takes place in spring – in April–May, when the soil temperature reaches +10 °C. Planting depth is 5 cm, with a distance of 30 cm between bushes. The plant prefers sunny locations and moderately moist soil; watering should be done regularly but not excessively.

Flowering lasts from July to October. To increase flower volume, buds are recommended to be cut after the first leaves appear. In autumn before frosts, fertilizers are added – superphosphate or ammonium sulfate, and in spring – additional feeding.

Amethyst is resistant to temperature fluctuations and grows quickly in warm, windless places. Seeds are sold in 0.2 g packages. This plant is excellent for cutting and decorative garden design thanks to its bright purple color and unusual pyramidal inflorescence structure.
