Description ALENA
Astra Alena is a popular annual plant with a compact, upright bush reaching heights of 50 to 60 cm. The flowers are large, double, cream-yellow or light-yellow in color, up to 10-15 cm in diameter, and are positioned on sturdy stems. During the flowering period, which begins in mid-July or August and continues until frost, a single plant forms 5 to 7 inflorescences. Due to its bright coloration and large flowers, astra is widely used for creating flowerbeds, rabatok, bright patches on lawns, as well as for cutting and arranging bouquets.

Growing astra Alena is possible through seedlings or direct sowing into the ground. Seeds are sown in March-April in a greenhouse or cold frame, as well as in April-May directly into the open ground. At temperatures from 18 to 21°C, seedlings appear within 6-15 days. For successful growth, the plant prefers sunny areas with fertile, well-drained soil.

Astra Alena is noted for its unpretentiousness and resistance to weather conditions, making it an excellent choice for gardeners. It looks great both in group plantings and in flowerbeds, and is a sought-after culture for cutting thanks to its large and bright flowers, which maintain freshness for a long time.
