Description Sophia
Aster 'Sophia' is a one-year plant reaching 60–80 cm in height, belonging to the peony-like group. Up to twenty sturdy flower stems with buds 9–12 cm in diameter form on one bush. The petals have a silver-white shade with a dense raspberry blush accent; buds may show both delicate and more saturated colors on the plant.

Flowering starts in July and continues until cold weather. The plant is resistant to unfavorable conditions and is easy to care for: it requires moderate watering, sunlight, and soil with moderate moisture. Planting is done at a depth of 0.5 cm; when sowing seeds, they are placed in furrows 1–1.5 cm deep with an interval of 10–15 cm, followed by thinning after seedlings appear.

To maintain health and abundant flowering, it is recommended to feed the plant three times: during vegetation, during budding, and during flowering. The aster 'Sophia' is perfect for both single plantings and group compositions, and can also be used in cut flowers: the bush can be cut off entirely, and individual flower stems remain fresh for up to fourteen days in a vase. The hardiness zone is 9–10 on the UF scale.
