Description OLD LOCK WHITE
The 'Old Lock White' aster variety is a tall annual plant with peony-like, densely double flowers measuring 10-12 cm in diameter. The bushes form a typical pyramidal silhouette, 60-70 cm high, with tall, strong, and elastic stems, making them suitable for cutting and bouquet creation. Blooming begins in mid-July and continues until September-October, ensuring a long-lasting decorative effect.

The flowers are distinguished by exceptional density and strength, allowing them to withstand rain and retain freshness in cut arrangements. With proper planting and moderate density, up to 10 flower stalks can form on one bush, enabling the creation of several bouquets from a single plant. The aster is sun-loving, has moderate drought resistance, and requires no complex care, making it suitable for novice gardeners.

The primary purpose of the variety is cut flowers, however, the bushes are also excellent for creating striking single plantings and decorating flower beds. It is recommended to change the planting location annually to prevent fusarium infection. Sowing seeds is done in March-April for seedlings, followed by transplanting into the ground in May-June.
