Silver Rain is an annual aster distinguished by large, dense flower heads measuring 10 to 14 cm in diameter. The plants reach a height of 70–90 cm, making them ideal for cutting as well as for arranging flowerbeds and garden plots. The flowers feature a light pink hue with long tubular shapes that retain freshness in water for an extended period.
This aster variety is excellent for decorative use: its sturdy stems and wide bush shape allow for easy composition formation both in open ground and in containers. Plants prefer sunny locations with good drainage but also tolerate partial shade due to their high light-loving nature.
Care for Silver Rain is simple: regular watering, moderate soil loosening, and fertilizing during the active growth period. Sowing can be carried out in late March–early April, while seedling planting takes place in May. Blooming begins in July and continues until September, ensuring a long period of decorative appeal.
