Aster PERFECTION

Stability and Aesthetics of the Perennial Aster 'Sovershenstvo'

Breeding work by the farm 'Kapris' (originator V. V. Shepelev) in the perennial aster segment has resulted in the 'Sovershenstvo' variety, which currently holds a stable position in professional landscaping. The technical value of this material lies in its high adaptability to climatic conditions and the predictability of its vegetative cycle.

Biological Parameters and Growth Nodes

• Stem Height (50–80 cm): This is a critical parameter for creating tiered flower beds. The medium-growth habit allows the variety to be used in both the first and second rows of a garden bed without the risk of shading neighboring crops.
• Color Palette: The deep blue shade of the petals is achieved through a high concentration of anthocyanins, ensuring color saturation even under active sun exposure.
• Winter Hardiness as a Key Factor: The main advantage of this variety is its ability to fully overwinter in the soil. The root system is adapted to sub-zero temperatures, which saves agronomists and gardeners from the need for annual digging and storage of planting material.

Practical Application in Landscaping

'Sovershenstvo' by 'Kapris' demonstrates high resistance to major pathogens common to the aster family. The density of the bush ensures a decorative look throughout the entire flowering period. The variety is optimal for creating stable garden compositions where plant longevity and minimal intervention in the development cycle are essential. The uniform development of the aerial part requires minimal maintenance, preserving the architecture of the flower bed within defined boundaries.
