Aster Fantasia

Practical Application in Landscaping

The perennial aster 'Fantaziya', developed by the Uman National University of Horticulture, is a reliable choice for professional landscapers and gardeners aiming for sustainable floral displays. With a height of 50–80 cm, this cultivar serves as the perfect mid-tier plant in mixed borders, bridging the gap between low groundcovers and taller shrubs.

Usage Scenarios

• Garden and Border Design: Its winter-hardy nature ensures perennial longevity, reducing the need for annual replanting. It is particularly effective for lining pathways and creating dense, structured flower beds.
• Professional Cut Flowers: The semi-spherical 5–7 cm blooms feature a unique bicolor pattern, making them a standout addition to floral arrangements. Their form ensures they maintain decorative value after cutting.
• Container Cultivation: 'Fantaziya' adapts well to restricted root space, making it a viable option for container gardening. It is ideal for decorating terraces, entrances, and patios where seasonal color is required.

As a product of Ukrainian breeding, 'Fantaziya' offers significant resilience against local climatic stressors. For growers, this means reduced maintenance requirements while maintaining a high standard of aesthetic appeal throughout the growing season.
