The "Stavropol" aster variety is a large-flowered plant with double inflorescences up to 15 cm in diameter, forming up to 12 flowers per bush. The bushes have a pyramidal shape and are distinguished by high flower density, making this variety especially attractive for creating effective flower beds and bouquets. Flowers maintain freshness in cuttings for a long time, remaining beautiful in vases for up to two weeks.
The plant reaches a height of about 60-70 cm, forming branched and large bushes. The aster responds well to complex mineral fertilizers, which are recommended to be applied approximately once a month to maintain intensive growth and abundant flowering. The variety is cold-hardy, allowing it to be used for decorating garden plots in the second half of summer and until the onset of cold.
For growing the "Stavropol" aster, the seedling method is recommended: seeds are sown in open ground in spring or under winter, and seedlings are pricked out when the first pair of true leaves appears. Plants are planted in a permanent place at the age of 30-35 days. During growth, regular watering, weeding, loosening, and feeding are necessary, which contributes to the formation of healthy and abundantly flowering bushes. This variety is excellent for use in mixed flower beds, rabatok, and for cuttings.
