The variety was obtained by G. T. Kazymin and V. A. Marusich at DalNIISKh from sowing seeds of the 'Leto' variety. It has been in state variety trials since 1991.
Medium-sized, spreading bush. Main branches are straight and rough. One-year shoots are straight and grayish-brown. Moderate branching. Flower buds are small, reddish-brown, and lag behind the shoots. They form at the tips of one-year shoots and shortened bouquet branches. Leaves are light green, egg-shaped, with strong pubescence. Petiole is short and greenish. Flowers are small (diameter 18-20 mm). Petals are pale pink, oval-shaped, moderately open. Calyx is tubular-cylindrical. Stigma is higher than stamens.
Fruits are large (average weight 3 g). Shape is round-oval. Main color is pink. Flesh is pink and firm, sweet-sour with pleasant taste. Juice is light pink. Sugar content — 9.2%, acid — 0.8%, ascorbic acid — 21 mg/100g. Stone is small, with sharp beak, half-detached. Fruits ripen July 18-20, suitable for all purposes, suitable for making jams, compotes, wine. Sensory evaluation score 4 points.
Enters fruiting on the second year of growth of the graft. Yield from two-year-old bush 200-600 g, and during peak fruiting 7.2-9.6 kg. The variety is characterized by high yield and immunity to 'cherry pocket disease'. Winter hardiness of the bush is satisfactory.
Advantages of the variety: well maintains variety characteristics when propagated by seeds, relatively resistant to diseases.
Disadvantages: insufficient winter hardiness at low elevations and wood frost damage.
