Milena

The Milena apple tree is a vigorous tree with a rounded, medium-density crown, developed at the Krasnoyarsk Fruit Research Station. This variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness, allowing it to be successfully grown in harsh climatic conditions. Fruiting begins in the 4th-5th year after planting, and yield reaches 20-25 tons per hectare at 15 years of age, with a maximum indicator of up to 35 tons per hectare. The tree is characterized by stable and abundant fruit production, making it attractive to gardeners and farmers.

Milena apple fruits have a rounded shape, slightly ribbed, weighing from 30 to 50 grams. Their color is bright red, while the flesh is white, juicy, and acid-sweet, giving the fruits a universal purpose — they are suitable both for fresh consumption and for processing. The ripening period falls at the beginning of September, and the storage period of the fruits lasts until November, allowing the harvest to be preserved for a long time.

The Milena variety is characterized by high frost resistance, withstanding temperatures down to -43°C, which makes it particularly valuable for regions with cold winters. Thanks to its winter hardiness, regular fruiting, and good fruit quality, the Milena apple tree is a reliable choice for growing in the Siberian and other northern regions.
