The DIALOGUE apple variety is a dwarf compact tree with a columnar crown and spur-type fruiting. This variety was bred in 1985 by crossing the columnar elite KV 103 with the Brusnichnoe variety and is characterized by rapid growth. DIALOGUE begins fruiting as early as the second year after planting, providing a stable yield for approximately 15 years. The tree has high resistance to scab and immunity to diseases and pests, as well as medium drought resistance and winter hardiness comparable to the well-known Antonovka. DIALOGUE apple fruits have a regular flat-round shape and an average weight of 110 to 143 grams. Their surface is smooth, with a base color of light yellow without pronounced skin coloration, although insignificant raspberry spotting may occasionally appear. The skin is thin but sufficiently strong, the peduncle is short, and the calyx is of the closed type with a wide, shallow basin. The flesh is white, of medium density, fine-grained, very juicy, and prone to splitting. The taste is sour-sweet with an emphasis on sourness, the aroma is pleasant but of medium intensity, which gives the fruits high dessert qualities. The ripening period falls in the first decade of August, making it an early summer variety. The fruits retain their taste qualities well for about a month after harvesting. DIALOGUE is excellent for home gardening thanks to its yield, which reaches an average of 37 tons per hectare. This variety is valued for the combination of high productivity, disease resistance, and attractive taste characteristics of the fruits.
