The 'Gordeevskoe' apple variety is a winter variety developed at the All-Russian Selection and Technology Institute of Horticulture and Nursery Management. The tree is of medium height, with a rounded, moderately dense crown and a spreading branching type. Branches are compactly arranged, departing from the trunk at an angle close to right, with smooth bark on the trunk and main branches. Leaves are large, elongated, green and shiny, with a finely serrated edge and slight fuzziness. Flowers are white, aromatic, and of medium size. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness and resistance to scab, making it suitable for cultivation in the Central region, as well as in Central Russia, the Central Black Soil Region, the Urals, and Siberia. The fruits of the 'Gordeevskoe' variety differ in size, above average, with a mass of about 170 grams, of a correct rounded-conical shape with a smooth skin of medium strength and a dull bloom. The main fruit color during harvest maturity is greenish, with red skin coloration on a smaller part of the fruit, which is preserved in consumer maturity, when the main color becomes whitish. The flesh is white, dense, juicy, with a sour-sweet taste, which is evaluated by tasting at 4.5–5 points and surpasses the taste of the common Antonovka. The fruits possess good storage qualities, retaining their qualities until April, which allows them to be used during the winter period. The 'Gordeevskoe' variety differs in high yield, reaching an average of 36 tons per hectare, and begins fruiting in the fifth year after planting. The apple prefers loose, moist soils, such as chernozem and loam, and requires the presence of pollinators, as it is self-sterile. Thanks to its drought resistance and love for light, the variety is successfully used both in home gardening and in industrial production, ensuring a stable and quality harvest.
