DAHESTAN SUMMER

The "Dahestan Summer" apple variety is a medium-sized tree with a dense, round canopy and scaly dark grey bark. Branches extend from the trunk at an acute angle, giving the tree a compact and tidy appearance. This variety is known for its early fruiting and high disease resistance, particularly to scab, making it a reliable choice for growing in the North Caucasus region, including Dagestan.

The fruits of "Dahestan Summer" have a flat-round shape and a smooth surface. Their size ranges from medium to above-average, weighing about 110–170 grams. The fruit coloration is predominantly greenish-yellow with a bright raspberry or dark red blush, giving them an attractive appearance. The apple flesh is white or yellowish, finely grained, juicy, and aromatic, with a sweet-and-sour taste rated approximately 4.7 points for taste quality.

The variety is intended for summer consumption, with harvest maturity occurring in late July and continuing until early August. Yield is high—averaging up to 10 tons per hectare, and reaching 20–25 tons under favorable conditions.
