Actinidia kolomikta 'Marmeladka' is a medium-sized plant obtained at the Moscow branch of VNIIR. The leaves are oval-shaped, dark olive in color, and glabrous, while the shoots are colored with brown shades. The fruits are oval, weighing about 2 g, compressed, covered with olive-green skin with light longitudinal stripes.
The fruit taste is sweet with a bright pineapple aroma, and the vitamin C content reaches 1256 mg%. The plant is self-incompatible and requires male plants for full fruiting. The ripening period is medium, but with proper care, the yield can be high.
Marmeladka differs in medium winter hardiness and high resistance to diseases and pests, which makes it easy to grow even in moderate climate conditions. Thanks to its taste qualities and nutritional value, this variety is suitable both for fresh consumption and for further processing into canned goods or dried products.
