Malchugan

The Malchugan zucchini variety is an early-ripening and high-yield variety that begins bearing fruit as early as 43-45 days after germination. The plant is of a bush type with a powerful root system and good foliage, which helps protect the fruits from sunburn and ensures steady growth. This variety is distinguished by its compactness and undemanding nature, making it popular among both beginners and experienced gardeners.

The fruits of the Malchugan zucchini have a cylindrical shape, a smooth thin white skin, and reach a length of 14-18 cm with a mass from 0.6 to 1.8 kg. The flesh is white-yellow, dense, and tender, with a pleasant sweet taste and high vitamin content, making this variety particularly useful and delicious. Thanks to its qualities, zucchinis are suitable for various cooking methods: baking, frying, canning, and making stews.

For successful cultivation of the Malchugan variety, it is recommended to use light, fertile soils with a low groundwater level. Sowing seeds is carried out in late May - early June, after the spring frosts have passed. Fruits should be harvested regularly with an interval of 2-3 days to avoid over-ripening and maintain high quality of the harvest.
