Pumpkin AUTUMN BEAUTY

Working with «Osennyaya Krasavitsa» Pumpkin

For any grower, selecting a pumpkin variety is a balancing act between yield and storage shelf life. The «Osennyaya Krasavitsa» (Autumn Beauty) variety, developed by Agrofirma Aelita (originators V.G. Kachaynik, M.N. Gulkin, and S.V. Matyunina), is a reliable choice for those looking for long-term storage capability.

Maintenance and Practical Handling

In the field, this variety is straightforward and predictable. The standout feature that any producer appreciates is its exceptional shelf life. You don't have to worry about rot or texture degradation; these pumpkins retain their firm flesh for many months post-harvest. Whether stored in a cool cellar or a pantry, the fruits remain stable, reducing the need for constant inventory checks throughout the winter.

Growing Tips

Working with this cultivar doesn't require advanced horticultural skills. The plant is responsive to standard agricultural practices: provide enough space for the vines to spread and ensure regular watering during the fruit-set period. The variety is adaptable to different soil types, though it performs consistently well in nutrient-rich conditions.

• Durability: The tough rind protects the fruit during harvesting and transport, minimizing losses.
• Consistency: The breeding work by Agrofirma Aelita ensures true-to-type performance.
• Storage: An ideal candidate for growers who need a reliable «from garden to spring» crop.

If you are looking for a reliable crop that won't spoil in storage and won't demand the expertise of a professional breeder to manage, «Osennyaya Krasavitsa» is a practical tool for your farm or garden. It turns the annual task of storing winter squash into a simple, worry-free process.
