DASHA

Dasha zucchini F1 is an early-maturing bush hybrid distinguished by high yield and stable fruit shape. The maturity period is 38–41 days, allowing harvest collection at the beginning of the season. The fruits have a cylindrical shape, light green color, length of 15–20 cm, and an average weight of about 300 grams. The zucchini skin is tender, allowing them to be eaten without peeling, and the flesh contains almost no seeds. The plant is predominantly female-type flowering and possesses parthenocarpic type, which means it does not require insect pollination and can be successfully grown in protected ground, ensuring an ultra-early harvest. The plant is compact, bush-type, which allows saving space in the bed. Dasha zucchini F1 is resistant to a wide range of viral and fungal diseases, which reduces the need for pesticide application and makes cultivation more eco-friendly. The fruits differ in high density, excellent taste, and good transportability. Late fruits can reach a length of about 40 cm and are well preserved at room temperature. Fruit color changes from light green to white as it ripens, while shape and coloration remain stable throughout the season. Growing the hybrid is possible both in open ground and in greenhouses. For planting, it is recommended to use a 70x70 cm scheme, and seeds for seedlings are sown 3–4 weeks before planting in a permanent place. Zucchini prefer sunny lighting and moderate watering—about 10–12 liters of water per bush weekly. To preserve moisture, it is useful to mulch the soil with manure, peat, or straw. The plant responds well to fertilization with potassium and phosphorus fertilizers, especially during active flowering, which contributes to increasing yield and fruit quality.
