The vine is trailing with gray-green, medium-segmented leaves. The fruits are round with a smooth surface and a weight ranging from 3.2 to 5.3 kg. The rind is thick and flexible, which contributes to the good preservation of the fruits. The flesh is red, dense, and granular, distinguished by excellent taste qualities. The dry matter content varies from 6.6% to 8.2%, and the overall sugar level is 6.1-7.1%, providing a sweet and rich taste.

For growing the 'RODNIK' watermelon, sowing in May with a depth of 4-5 cm and a planting pattern of 180-200 on 60-80 cm is recommended.
