Registered in the State Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine since 2002 for forest-steppe zone.
Synthetic, diploid variety.
Biological characteristics: medium-maturing variety. Height 110 — 130 cm, dominant type of short-stemness, suitable for mechanized harvesting. Standard winter hardiness — enhanced winter hardiness, drought resistance — high. Susceptibility to powdery mildew, brown rust, and snow mold at level 5-7%, drought resistance 9 points.
Agronomic characteristics: potential yield 7.0 t/ha, grain large, oval, gray-green color. 1000-grain weight 34-37 g. Falling number 280 — 330 s. Baking properties good. Crude protein content is 10.4%.
Agronomic requirements: plant after perennial grasses, peas, corn for grain. Sowing time optimal for winter rye in the region.
