Autumn variety, a selection by I. V. Michurin, obtained by crossing Korichnoy with Chinese apple. It has been approved for cultivation in Central Region areas and is grown in home gardens.
Trees are vigorous, with sparse oval crowns, with oblique-vertical skeletal branches oriented upward, covered with branched rings where fruit forms.
Shoots are red-brown, thick, with short internodes. Leaves are large, round, with serrated margins, slightly uplifted edges. Surface is smooth and matte. Petiole is strongly colored, hairy, with thread-like stipules.
Fruits (apple) are large and medium-sized, evenly shaped, symmetrical, round with faint ribs. Main color is light-yellow, with a small delicate blush in the form of light streaks and purple stripes, sometimes merging into a solid blush. Fruit stalk is short, thick, emerging from a narrow, deep cup. Calyx is open. Dish is deep, wide, with smooth walls.
Flesh is white, juicy, tender, fine-grained, with a sweet-sour taste.
Ripening is autumnal. Under storage conditions, fruits remain viable for about 100 days.
Yield is high: annual in young trees, periodic during full fruiting.
Trees are winter-hardy; fruits and leaves are resistant to scab.
Advantages of the variety: winter hardiness, abundant yield, high fruit quality.
Disadvantages of the variety: fruit drop, requires timely harvesting.
