This summer variety was obtained at the Scientific Research Institute of Horticulture of Siberia named after M. A. Lisavenko from crossing in 1963 with Autumn Joy from the Altai Mountainous Region. Breeders of the variety: M. A. Lisavenko, I. P. Kalinina, T. F. Kornienko, E. S. Orekhova, Z. A. Granikina. Approved in 1998 for the West Siberian region. Grown in private gardens of the Altai Krai.
Medium-sized trees with a medium-dense, rounded crown. Main branches extend from the trunk at sharp angles. The main yield is located on simple and compound rings.
Medium-thick shoots, brown, hairy. Leaves are round, short-pointed, green, glossy, wrinkled. Leaf blade is concave, curved downward, hairy on the underside, with wavy, toothed edges. Petioles of medium length, hairy. Stipules are small, lanceolate.
Fruits (see illustration) are small (35-50 g), round, with large, smooth, ribbed texture. Skin is smooth, with an intense blue bloom. Main color is yellow, covering color is dark red, diffused throughout the fruit, through which the main color appears as spots. Peduncle is medium length, thin, hairy. Calyx is wide, with light rust-colored rays. Receptacle is wide, ribbed. Calyx tube is closed. Receptacle tube is long, cylindrical. Seed chambers are closed. Axial cavity is narrow.
Flesh is creamy, fine-grained, juicy, slightly acidic-sweet, good taste. Chemical composition of the fruit: sugar content — 11.0% (9.5-13.1), titratable acids — 1.16% (1.01-1.45), tannins — 100 mg/100g (41-241), ascorbic acid — 14.4 mg/100g (5.4-27.8), pectin substances — 3.48% dry weight, P-active compounds — 216 mg/100g (121-288).
Fruits ripen in the second decade of August, can be stored up to 30 days during the summer season, for general use.
Fruit production begins on the fifth year. Average yield, annual fruiting. Winter hardiness is medium. Highly resistant to scab.
Advantages of the variety: attractive fruits, good taste, high resistance to scab.
Disadvantages of the variety: small fruits.
