The Daryunok Valeriya apple tree is a late-winter variety developed by Belarusian breeders at the Institute of Pomology. This variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness and resistance to fungal diseases, including complete immunity to scab, which significantly simplifies care and increases crop reliability. The tree is medium-sized, with a round crown, reaching a height of 3.5–4.0 meters, making it suitable for cultivation both in private gardens and for commercial purposes. The crown has a sparse structure and slightly drooping form, facilitating fruit harvesting and pruning.
The fruits of the Daryunok Valeriya variety are large, weighing from 135 to 200 grams, with dense, juicy, crisp white flesh of medium density and semi-oily texture. The flavor of the apples is characterized by pleasant sweetness without acidity, making them especially appealing to consumers. The apples retain their consumer qualities for a long time, allowing them to be used both for fresh consumption and for storage. The variety has high yield — up to 25 tons per hectare, with annual, abundant, and regular fruiting.
The variety is primarily cultivated on semi-dwarf rootstocks, which facilitates cultivation and maintenance. Due to its winter hardiness, the apple tree can withstand temperatures down to -36 °C, expanding its successful cultivation range. The variety has already gained popularity among amateur gardeners in various regions, including the forest-steppe and western areas, and is suitable for those who value the combination of high fruit quality, disease resistance, and reliable harvests.
