Description CIVG 198
The CIVG 198 / KIVG 198 apple variety is a late-ripening variety registered in the State Register for the North Caucasus region. This variety was developed in 1982 by crossing the Liberty and Gala varieties. The trees are medium-sized, which facilitates care and harvest. The fruits are large, weighing 180 to 200 grams, have an elongated shape and a bright red color, making them attractive to consumers.

The flesh is yellow, tender, very juicy, and has a crisp texture. The flavor is sweet with a slight tartness, giving the fruit a unique harmony. The variety is highly resistant to common diseases such as scab, powdery mildew, and aphids, reducing the need for frequent chemical treatments and promoting ecological cultivation.

CIVG 198 apples have good transportability and can be stored in a refrigerator until May, allowing them to retain their freshness and flavor for a long time. Due to its characteristics, this variety is widely used in gardening to produce high-quality harvests with excellent taste and market qualities.
