Year of inclusion in the Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine — 2013.
Method of creation: by combining morphologically homogeneous lines selected from the hybrid population Kharkivskaya 23 winter / Leukurum 1963, winter hardy wheat of intergeneric origin.
Trial characteristics: variety of Hordeiform type. Spike glabrous, awned, red, prismatic shape, medium length (8 — 9 cm). Awns stiff, serrated, light-red. Spikelet bracts elongated. Teeth short, moderately curved. Shoulder elevated, narrow. Grain amber, large size, 1000-grain weight 48 — 55 g.
Biological features: belongs to the steppe ecological group. Plant height 90 — 100 cm. Mid-season maturing variety. Winter hardiness above average — average. Drought resistance and lodging resistance are high. High resistance to various types of rust, septoria (8 — 9 points), rust and powdery mildew (7 points), moderately susceptible to fusarium.
Agricultural characteristics: high potential yield 9 — 10 t / ha. In average over five years (2007 — 2012) in competitive trials, the yield of the variety Shulindinka was 5.44, standard Kharkivskaya 32 — 4.18, Odeskaya Iceberg — 3.39, Kontinent — 4.57 t / ha. Maximum grain yield of the variety Shulindinka 9.43 t / ha was obtained at the Vinnytsia State Expert Center in 2011, standard Al'iy Parus — 8.73 t / ha. In state variety trials, in average over three years (2010 — 2012) in Steppe region, the yield of the new variety was 4.57, in Forest-Steppe — 6.53 t / ha.
Grain quality: good pasta and cereal qualities. Grain density 790 — 820 g / L. Raw gluten content 32 — 38%, protein 14.8 — 17.5%. Overall rating for pasta products 4.0 — 4.8 points.
Agronomic requirements: to be planted after predecessors of fallow, perennial grasses, peas. Sowing dates — beginning of optimal sowing dates for winter wheat in the region. Sowing rate 5.0 million viable seeds.
