It belongs to the semi-intensive group and has a high genetic yield potential, reaching 60-75 centners per hectare, with some data indicating up to 11-12.5 tons per hectare. The variety is characterized by good grain quality meeting the requirements of strong and premium soft wheat varieties, with protein content of 13.8-14.1% and gluten content of 28.8-29.5%. The 1000-grain weight varies within the range of 38-44 grams.

Odeska 161 exhibits high resistance to adverse environmental factors, including drought, heat, frost, and winter hardiness. The vegetation period is approximately 280-287 days, ensuring stable crop development and maturation. The variety shows high resistance to major wheat diseases, such as brown and stem rust, powdery mildew, fusarium diseases, and leaf septoria.
