Wheat HIMARS

Yield and Resilience: The «Haymars» Advantage

«Haymars» wheat, developed by the Romanian breeding house Soytek S.R.L., represents a strategic choice for growers balancing productivity with crop safety. Authored by Stelian Fuia (SC Soytek), this variety is engineered to withstand the pressures of modern farming, particularly those related to fungal pathogens that often compromise grain quality.

Superior Disease Resistance

What sets «Haymars» apart in its class is its robust resistance profile, specifically against late blight (phytophthora) and downy mildew. In an era where volatile weather patterns frequently trigger disease outbreaks, the inherent genetic strength of this variety acts as a natural buffer. This allows farmers to optimize their fungicide programs while maintaining a consistent quality standard.

Key Advantages for Intensive Farming:

• Technological Compliance: With a 30-day pre-harvest interval (PHI) for the last treatment, the variety fits perfectly into rigorous crop management schedules.
• Genetic Stability: Developed by SC Soytek, the variety offers consistent performance across various soil types.
• Reduced Input Reliance: High natural resistance to mildew and late blight translates into fewer emergency interventions, saving on operational costs.

For agricultural enterprises focusing on sustainable yet high-yield outcomes, «Haymars» is an asset. Its development reflects a precise approach to breeding that prioritizes both the plant's health and the end-user’s bottom line. Whether managing large tracts of land or specialized high-value plots, the reliability of «Haymars» ensures a stable and predictable harvest, making it a top-tier choice from the Soytek S.R.L. portfolio.
