Wheat Atene

Italian Breeding for Modern Farming

The winter wheat variety 'Atene' represents the latest in Italian agricultural innovation, officially registered in Ukraine in 2025. Developed by APSOVSEMENTI S.P.A., this complex hybrid (Triticum aestivum L.) is designed for producers who demand a perfect balance between high yield potential and environmental adaptability.

Unmatched Adaptability

The standout feature of 'Atene' is its versatility. Unlike many specialized varieties, this hybrid performs consistently across all key agro-climatic zones of Ukraine: the Steppe, the Forest-Steppe, and Polissya. This makes it a reliable choice for large-scale farming operations managing diverse soil types and varying moisture levels.

Key Technical Advantages

• Advanced Genetics: Utilizing the SZ breeding method, 'Atene' offers superior resilience against environmental stressors, ensuring crop stability even during challenging growing seasons.
• Market-Ready Quality: As a product of Italian expertise, the variety is optimized for high-quality grain production, meeting the stringent requirements of modern milling and processing industries.
• 2025 Registration: By choosing 'Atene', you are utilizing the latest genetic advancements that address contemporary agricultural challenges and phytosanitary requirements.

'Atene' is designed for professionals who prioritize intensive farming technologies. Its inherent plasticity allows the crop to thrive in both the arid conditions of the south and the more humid regions of the north, ensuring uniform maturation and predictable, high-quality yields.
