Pineapple sorghum hybrid exhibits unique biochemical properties, manifested in high content of phytocompounds in water extracts from seeds. These extracts, at concentrations of 40–50%, suppress germination energy and seed viability of crops such as peas and clover, reducing their indices by 15–42%. At lower concentrations (5–30%), they exhibit stimulating and tolerant effects on the quality of biotest crop seeds, indicating minimal allelopathic activity of this sorghum variety.
