Chilon (Usta) F1 watermelon is an early hybrid type Crimson Sweet, developed by the Turkish seed company Yuksel Tohum. The vegetation period of this variety is 60-65 days from fruit set, allowing for early harvest. The plant is compact and well-balanced, with abundant foliage and a strong root system. The hybrid is resistant to short-term cold snaps, does not drop fruit, and tolerates drought and high solar activity, making it suitable for cultivation in both open and protected soil. Chilon watermelon fruits have a round-oval shape with a characteristic green striped coloration. The weight of one fruit ranges from 8 to 11 kg. The flesh is bright red, dense, juicy, and crunchy, free of fibers and voids. The flavor is rich and honey-like, giving the watermelon exceptional appeal.
