Biant F1 watermelon is an ultra-early hybrid of the Crimson Sweet type, developed by the Turkish seed company Yuksel Seeds. This variety is distinguished by its early maturity: fruits ripen as early as 52-60 days after transplanting seedlings, enabling a quick harvest. The plant is strong, with abundant foliage, resistant to stress, heat, and various diseases, including anthracnose, ensuring stable fruiting even under sudden changes in weather conditions.
The fruits of the Biant watermelon have a round-oval shape with a characteristic striped, "tiger-striped" rind of medium thickness. The average weight of one fruit ranges from 7 to 12 kg, making this variety highly productive due to the large quantity and uniformity of fruits. The flesh is a deep red color, juicy, crisp, and granular, without voids. Sugar content reaches 11-12%, giving the watermelon a sweet and rich flavor.
Biant watermelon withstands transportation and storage well, while maintaining its taste qualities. It is recommended to consume it fresh immediately after harvest to enjoy maximum juiciness and sweetness. Due to its resistance to various soils, including heavy soils, and adaptability to climatic conditions, this variety is suitable for cultivation in diverse regions.
