Vigna is a vegetable legume crop belonging to the family Fabaceae and the genus Vigna. The "ALIA" variety is an early-maturing option that ripens significantly earlier than common varieties, allowing for shorter planting schedules and harvest within the spring-summer period.
Key variety characteristics include a vegetative period of 104 to 115 days, as well as high yield: seeds produce about 5 c/ha, beans – from 6.8 to 10.1 t/ha. Protein content in fruits ranges from 19.86–21.05 %. To achieve optimal results, it is recommended to sow a rate of 200 thousand viable seeds per hectare, with wide-row spacing of 70 cm and planting in the second decade of May. Harvesting is done manually.
The "ALIA" variety is characterized by uniform ripening and is suitable for growing both in open ground and in greenhouses, making it a universal choice for farmers with different climatic conditions. Due to its tenderness and high yield, viny is widely used in cooking, and is also valued for its potential medicinal properties.
