Description CASPIAN PEARL
CASPIAN PEARL is a variety of vigna belonging to the legume family with a tropical origin. The plant is a perennial climbing plant 90 to 100 cm high, which can reach lengths of 3–4 m under favorable conditions. The leaves are long-stalked, medium-sized, and the stem is straight with a climbing top.

The key feature of this variety is the large size of the pods: they reach lengths of up to 1 m and widths of about 2 cm, while maintaining juiciness and a dense structure. Pods are usually light green, without a parchment layer, with a slight curvature. Technical ripeness occurs 50–52 days after germination, and the vegetation period lasts about 70 days. The yield of pods at technical ripeness ranges from 161 to 201 c/ha, while the weight of 100 pods can reach 1180–1360 g.

The variety is distinguished by its resistance to high temperatures and does not have strict requirements for soil fertility. Thanks to its characteristics, it is suitable for use in cooking, freezing, and canning. Pods can be harvested up to 3 kg from one bush, making them a valuable product for both home consumption and commercial production.
