ASTRAKHAN SKYBEAUTY

Astrakhan Skybeauty is a vining bean (Vigna Savi) variety that reaches technical maturity in 58-64 days after emergence. The plant grows 90-100 cm tall, featuring a straight stem of medium length with a climbing apex and narrow green leaves. Light reddish-purple flowers give it an ornamental appearance.

The pods of this variety are characterized by slight curvature, green color, and absence of a parchment layer. Pod length is about 40 cm, width – 0.7 cm. The weight of 100 pods ranges from 1200-1400 g, while the weight of 1000 seeds is approximately 140 g. Yield at technical maturity reaches 189-231 c/ha.

The variety is heat-tolerant and suitable for culinary use, freezing, and canning. Due to its edibility and ornamental qualities, astrakhan skybeauty can be used as a nitrogen-fixing vegetable crop and as an element of garden decoration.
