Divo

The 'Divо' pumpkin variety belongs to the medium-early muscat types with a vegetation period of about 100-105 days from germination. The fruits have a characteristic pepper-shaped form with a segmented surface and a light-brown, thin, tender rind with a pinkish hue. Fruit weight ranges from 6 to 9 kg, and flesh thickness exceeds 10 cm, ensuring significant juiciness and crisp texture.

The flesh of 'Divо' pumpkin has a red-orange color and high sugar, carotene, and pectin content, making this variety especially valuable for the food industry. Due to its flavor qualities, the pumpkin is suitable for making sugar-free baby food puree as well as for juice and candied fruit production. The variety exhibits moderate resistance to powdery mildew and good transportability, which helps maintain fruit quality during transportation.

For successful cultivation, seeds are sown when soil temperature reaches 12°C, at a depth of 4-5 cm, with a seeding rate of 0.4 g per square meter. The yield of this variety without additional irrigation reaches 50 tons per hectare, indicating its high productivity and adaptability to various growing conditions.
